meet the founder, HAYLEY
My career path wasn’t exactly linear (more chaotic squiggle than neat ladder).
Before becoming an OBM, I was a flight attendant — jetting around the world, reorganising business class galleys, and learning the true value of systems, processes, and not throttling colleagues who can’t find a teaspoon.
That’s where I fell in love with operations: turns out I could get paid to organise sh*t.
Sign. Me. Up.
At 40,000 feet with limited resources, efficiency wasn’t a nice-to-have: It was survival. (Exhibit A: the time I MacGyvered my hair tie into a mini tourniquet and low-key saved a passenger’s life.)
On the ground, I turned packing into SOPs before I even knew what SOPs were. Later, in marketing, copywriting, and journalism, I kept gravitating towards systems and workflows like a moth to a label maker.
So here I am: bridging the gap between ‘getting stuff done’ and ‘actually growing the business.’ My job? Building you a backbone so your shiny frontend (clients, growth, lifestyle) doesn’t collapse in a heap.
My PHILOSOPHY
Operations have a bad rap for being dull, corporate, and about as sexy as a filing cabinet
Well, not on my watch. My philosophy is simple:
Honesty over fluff: I tell it straight. No jargon. No ‘synergy’. No nodding along while you spiral.
Efficiency with personality: Systems don’t have to be soulless. Humour makes the hard stuff easier (and keeps you awake).
Partnership, not servitude: I don’t take orders; I collaborate. Think teammate, not task robot.
Empowerment: I’ll leave you confident and in control, not bewildered and Googling acronyms at midnight.
